Clothes designed with love and creativity are worn and cared for with a completely different consciousness, and that alone makes them last much longer - Stefanie Pietsch is sure of that. When the artist founded her own fashion label in 2017, she wanted to create clothes that give freedom to the one who wears them. To wear on a date, to go shopping, to go to the beach. You could say it' s a home to wear. At the same time, she did not want to create another trend-driven, fast-moving brand, but to contribute to a responsible approach to the environment and resources. With the flowing, light caftan dresses, which she produces under the name SPC - Stefanie Pietsch Collection, she has succeeded in this step.

Her timeless caftans can be worn either with a belt for a more feminine look or very loosely. In this way they fit to almost all occasions. The combination of elegance and effortlessness suits every woman. To ensure that every woman feels comfortable in them, Stefanie Pietsch first designs each piece for herself. This is how she determines how well the caftan performs in everyday life, whether it feels good on the skin, and how easy it is to combine. Thus, each dress becomes a very personal, special piece for the designer. A great effort that is worthwhile, as Stefanie Pietsch explains:

"The more unique and thoughtful the design process is, the more love there is in the production of a garment, the more the customer will appreciate the purchase and the longer she will enjoy her piece".

This special feature is further underlined by the manufacturing process. The label allows only small quantities to be produced to avoid overproduction. Only materials with a good ecological balance are used. They come from Greece, Germany and France. An important material is Tencel, which is very sustainable in its production.

The designer also pays attention to the environment when printing. The viscose fabrics for the Art Collection, in which the caftans are provided with drawings by the founder, are printed in Germany by a company that uses the latest printing techniques. This digital printing causes considerably less water and energy consumption than conventional rotary printing, explains Pietsch:

"The manufacturer I work with has a specially designed water recycling system that additionally minimizes water consumption. In addition, the company uses only non-toxic inks and chemicals. The printing inks come from Europe and are GOTS-approved".

This fulfils important conditions of the Oekotex Standrad 100. Just one of many reasons to love this label!
