"Schneid haben” is the German translation for "To have "guts" and to dare something new - and it is probably the best way to describe the philosophy of the Lübeck design studio. After all, this is what Julia and Niklas Jessen did six years ago, with the founding of their studio SCHNEID lighting & furniture. Since then the product designer and the trained carpenter and architect have been creating lamps, furniture, and accessories that inspire with their mix of striking forms, soft colors, and natural materials and at the same time appear both timeless and modern.
Pure deceleration in a very special hideaway in Apulia. In the remote village of Gagliano del Capo, Francesco Petrucci carefully renovated his 150-year-old Palazzo, which has been family-owned for five generations. He transformed the Palazzo Daniele into a stylish little hotel with nine spacious suites and exceptional art and design objects. An ingenious mix of historical and modern elements: Each of the suites is furnished in a minimalist style with splendid ceiling frescoes and mosaic floors. Overlooking either the piazza, the green courtyards or the pool area.

Can you please introduce yourself?
Sure, I'd love to. I am Stefanie Luxat, 39, editor-in-chief of the blog magazine OhhhhMhhh.de and recently also podcaster. My podcast is called "Endlich Om - The podcast for late bloomers in terms of healthy nutrition, self-love, and sustainability". I have written four books (including "Wie eine Wohnung ein Zuhause wird"), and I have two small children and a husband. Haha, that sounds like taking inventory.
