Athleisure has become an indispensable part of the fashion world. Countless new labels are trying to keep up with the trend. One of them stands out from the crowd: Aeance was founded in 2015 by Nadine-Isabelle Baier and Arendt van Deyk to satisfy their own needs, as Baier explains: "What my partner and I missed was fashion that perfectly combines the demands of a high-end ready-to-wear label - high-quality materials and timeless, sophisticated design! – with activewear and is wearable and combinable not only for sports, but for any other occasion." With Aeance, the founding duo closes this gap in the market.

True to the motto "less, but better", the label has since produced one new collection per year, which works for every season. This is due to the puristic design of the products. The name Aeance is composed of "Aesthetics" and "Performance" - and the name says it all. The minimalist looks can be easily integrated into the daytime wardrobe.
Minimalist looks made of high-performance materials
The aim of the brand is to manufacture all products with the lowest possible impact on the environment. The label concentrates on environmentally friendly fabrics such as certified merino wool, which have great characteristics for sportswear. Recycled and sustainable produced synthetic materials also play an important role. Aeance does not use cotton because the material requires enormous amounts of water during production. All fabrics come from Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Japan and New Zealand and are certified by bluesign®, OEKO-TEX®, GRS (Global Recycle Standard), among others.

Sustainable production with advanced technology
Respecting social standards is also important to the label. The clothing is therefore manufactured in Portugal. Most advanced technologies are used here, including bonded seams, laser cutting and water-repellent finishes made from renewable raw materials. Finally, we have found a great alternative to sportswear made from cheap synthetic fabrics!
