The founder of FRITZ the Label is Lisa Osterholzer. Fashion has always been her passion. However, she first started her career in the communications department of a French luxury label.

Lisa Osterholzer, the founder of FRITZ the Label

In spring 2018, when she was desperately searching for the perfect basic shirt, she decided without further ado to sew one for herself. And although this shirt was definitely not a masterpiece of tailoring, she wore it almost every day. She received a lot of positive feedback - and thus the idea for FRITZ was born. It took another year before it was actually launched. With the claim to create fairly produced "asset pieces" and the goal to become the coolest contemporary fashion brand in Germany.

"I love oversize, I love classic cuts with that certain something, I love good quality at affordable prices," is how Lisa describes her label.

Pure, trendy, fair and affordable. Lisa's mission is to design contemporary fashion without compromise. She does not work in collections but launches one piece at a time. Her credo: fashion should be fun - and yet she is aware that she bears a great responsibility towards customers and nature with every item she produces.

The production site in Portugal

FRITZ stands for slow fashion. When choosing her production site in Portugal, the idea of sustainability was crucial: Lisa only works with small sewing factories that pay their employees fair wages. All fabrics are produced locally or purchased under the strictest conditions. Every single fabric is GOTS certified (GOTS: Global Organic Textile Standard). Furthermore, Lisa deliberately produces only in small quantities to avoid surplus and overproduction. Finally, every order is lovingly packed and shipped by her or her mother - of course using only natural packaging materials.
